Connect my yahoo mail with Outlook?

hello there

how i can connect my yahoo mail with windows outlook he need the incoming and outgoing server but when i put it he keep tell me inter your usernam and password i dont know what is the problem, maybe i can connect my hotmail with outlook but please i need your help .

Basically Yahoo Basic free version will not work w/ Oultook. You need to upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus OR use YPOPS, it's free.

For Hotmail you will need to contact Hotmail to get the info.

For yahoo mail you have 2 options

If you are using yahoo email you can upgrade to yahoo mail plus to get

the full pop3 service

If you want to use Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird or other third party email clients to view your email you have 2 options.

Subscribe to mail plus:

then follow the directions for your version of outlook here,

Click on YPOPS link on the left.

Then Click on Configuring email clients towards the bottom.

Choose the appropriate link for your mail client.

I currently utilize version 2.0.0.4 of Thunderbird

and version 0.8.3 of YPOPS (there is a more recent version of YPOPS that you need if you are Yahoo Beta Mail) and have no problems.

Hotmail with outlookk/outlook express

Much like Yahoo, hotmail does not allow access via a pop3 account.

There is a way around this, just like with Yahoo.

First you will need to download and install a program called FREEPOPS.

Then follow the directions for setting it up for your hotmail account fromthis webpage.
