In mail compose, i don't get a text box anymore.Receive mail ok. i have wndows 98.?

When I try to compose, the "to" box comes up, and subject line, also attachments. But no text box, cannot type text. Receive mail okay. Supposed to pay for increase mail space now, but don't want to if I can't write emails! I have windows 98. My mail was working, now it is not. Help G

This is a common problem and usually it's quite simple to fix. You need to change your preferences to plain text formatting instead of HTML. From a Yahoo! Mail page click the "Options" link at top right of the page, then click "General Preferences". Scroll down to the "Composing E-mails" category and select "Compose messages as plain text" then Save your changes. This will resolve the issue in most cases.

Also, try switching back to HTML formatting once a week or so just to see if it'll work again for you

Same problem here! SOOOOOOO many people have listed the same problem on yahoo! I emailed them, but found their customer support less than halpful! I say we all email them at the same time so they can get a clue and fix it already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
get a mail software like Microsoft Outlook or Eudora.
