I did not understand, whether your question was pertaining to your e-mail ID or the e-mail program.

If its e-mail ID, there is no difference.

But the MSN Hotmail doesnot exist anymore. You might have seen the message "MSN? Hotmail? is changing... to Windows Live? Hotmail?" in the sign-in page. Now it is called Windows Live? Hotmail. It is MSN Hotmail integrated with Windows Live.

If your question is regarding the e-mail program, then you have two options:

Full version of Windows Live Hotmail; and,

the Classic version of Windows Live Hotmail(the previous hotmail version).

You can change back to "Classic version of Windows Live Hotmail" by clicking the "Try the classic version." link in your mail home page.

You can't. They're changing everything to live mail. Eventually when you log in it just says "we're converting everyone to Live Mail so you no longer have the old hotmail". They're slowly switching everyone over. If you don't like live mail you could try switching emails to gmail or something.
