I got a mail from Yahoo Awards says i have won a huge amt as a prize from Yahoo & Windows live,

The mail asks a lot of details %26amp; has the name of an agent i'm supposed to contact %26amp; the snap %26amp; sign of the awards coordinator. Has anybody faced a similar situation? Pls do answer

Yes it is a scam, and no it didn't come from yahoo.
i just received a similar e-mail from yahoo and it says i've won 800,000.00 GBP (EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND GREAT BRITISH POUNDS STERLING ).and i'm the one of the 10 lucky winners. they gave me also a form in which i had to fill in the answers (question about name,addresse,telephone and other information).i'm absolutely sure it's a spam so don't trust none of this kind of e-mails!!!
Typical 419 scam. They collect your data and will at some point require you to pay for expenses, insurance and so on. IF you pay there'll be "unexpected extra expenses." Should you try to come after them and come close they'll try to kill you.
They are all phishing.
Some idiots are sending these mails. Don't respond. These are false offers
