how can i have have a look at this attachment ,i know it's safe,it's come from someone in cambodia where the net is not up to the same level as the west. My inbox page won't open the attachment it won't click.

click on show at top of mail!
it should give you the choice of seeing blocked images. As above it should be on the bar above the message, a bit that says SHOW. All you do is click on this.
Alternatively, create another email account with yahoo and ask the person to resend email to your new email.
You could ask your friend to 'zip' or 'rar' the file using winzip or winrar, this way you should be able to open it ok.
You may have to loosen up your security settings a notch or two. That puts some of the responsibility for your computer's safety on you.

I normally forward suspicious items from hotmail to yahoo and scan before trying to download.
