When I try to set up Windows Mail in Microsoft Vista, I get the message %26gt;The host POP3 could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly%26lt;.
How do I find the %26gt;server name%26lt; ? If I should find it, how might I apply its application in a format that will allow me to set up Windows Mail?
Thanks.

you will find it with the service provider usually u call them up and they will give u the info
u have to enter incoming mail server and outgoing mail server
usually its
pop3.yourprovider.com or pop.yourprovider.com
smtp.yourprovider.com
but it can also be something different
make sure you change the yourprovider by your internet provider compagny name and it may not be .com could be .ca .org or others

you need POP or IMAP access from your mail provider. Yahoo does not give it your for free, you have to pay for POP access. Gmail does - http://www.gmail.com . Go to the help section of your e-mail provider and search for POP access. IMAP access if better if your email site and Windows Mail support it, so also search for that. It should give you instructions.
