I am thinking about downloading Windows Live and am wondering if it will work with my ATT Yahoo web mail as default or do you have to use Windows mail as default? Also if it does work,will messenger notify you when mail is received while surfing?I also have a hotmail address.I have Vista Home Premium OS.

#1 - Live won't work with Yahoo unless one pays $20 a month for POP/IMAP access to their servers. Stick with hotmail account for Live.
#2 - Yes to being notified of new mail when surfing.
