Can anyone help me with my e-mail problem?windows server 2003
Select the email account's properties i.e. embarqmail account's properties.
At "advanced" tab, just below below SMTP-port option, remove tick mark from "this server requires ssl connection" (only this option just under "smtp" option) . Done, save and exit
Try to send mail...
In short:-

You need an account to access the email providers instructions. However, supposedly the POP server is pop.embarqmail.com , the SMTP server is smtp.embarqmail.com , you enter your email address as the username, and you should not check "use secure authentication".---last statement that it should not be checked is important one..and you have not done it.
