Loads of people having this problem. wether you have got IE6 or IE7 shouldn't matter. The problem is with yahoo. I am in the process of trying to find out how to contact them to get a definate answer once and for all.

I'm having the same problem(see my earlier question) I'm using AOL's browser.Interestingly though,when I open IE separately,I can access Yahoo! Mail Beta,but this is time consuming.
