I'm having this same problem. I don't think that it's anything to do with the browser as this is showing up on an increasing number of web pages.

There is some kind of web formatting standard that Netscape 7 doesn't read. As far as I know there is no browser upgrade available for OS-9 macs.

Probably browser problem, try deleting all cookies and temporary files and reset the browser to default settings.

if same problem, open yahoo in a different browser, you may need to update netscape.

check any recent antivirus or firewall settings.
I think it's because yahoo has expanded the ad window to the right...it doesn't seem as if the left box nor the main mail box has changed, but i have noticed a lot more ad showing while i read mail....i have learned, that if i can't read the mail, i click on "reply" it puts everything in a smaller window, and wraps it to fit, and i read it that way, then do what i want with it, delete it, forward it, whatever
