Yahoo is my home page. When it comes up the little mail window displays how many new messages I have before I click on it. It stopped doing this. How do I get it to display the # of new messages again?!

due to some technical reasons i am also one among many to not get the alerts for emails........hope that will be fixed soon.

Check and make sure its still enabled.Click on toolbar settings icon,the avatar head or the pencil.Then click on toolbar options and see if mail alerts is still checked,if not check it and click ok.
