Its a habit to not check the "Keep me logged on for 2 weeks" box when I log on to Yahoo! online. Yeah, that habit I'll never break...but I want to know if I can make my Yahoo! Email show up when I click "Windows Mail" (I have Vista, FYI)....sooo...if anyone knows how, thanks! But I am willing to change my email to whatever it reads, I hate logging on to email online because I never check the box to keep me logged on anyways...

Well from what I can see free yahoo mail doesn't allow you to use an external client such as windows mail to retrieve your mail ... So I would suggest to get a gmail account...hope yahoo doesn't kill me or realize that they need to allow free imap/pop access ... anyway this is what you can do if you set up a gmail account.
Okay this is what you are going to do:
1. open up windows mail
2. go to tools %26gt; accounts
3. Click add %26gt; email accounts
4. Next %26gt; Enter Your Name
5. Next %26gt; Enter your Email Address
6. Next %26gt; Select IMAP (more on this at bottom of message)
7. In the incoming mail box type: imap.gmail.com
8. in the outgoing mail box type: smtp.gmail.com
9. Check my outgoing mail requires autentication
10. Click next %26gt; click your account information
11. Then click finish
12. Go into your gmail account %26gt; click settings
13. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP
14. Scroll down and enable IMAP
15. Go to yahoo and email all your contacts of your new email address.
Okay, so the difference between IMAP and POP. They are basically two different ways of retrieving your email. IMAP is the newest feature and by far is the best. Basically in IMAP, when you change your mail into different folders or delete it in windows mail, it will also do the exact same thing in your gmail account. Also, if you do changes in your web browser, say somewhere else, when you go back to your windows mail, it will also change to whatever you did. POP however just takes mail out of your email into your windows mail, so I wouldn't use that.
If you have any other questions, feel free to email / private message / whatever else you can do.
